Too much of the 'health food' market has become a maze of processed ingredients and questionable substitutes, leaving health-conscious people choosing between their wellness goals and satisfaction.
My journey began in 2005 when I was a dedicated raw vegan. I discovered that truly clean eating meant creating my own solutions. Alternative treats had sugars (e.g. agave, honey, dates) or processed additives or both. Many raw vegan dessert options were delicious but had some kind of sugar (coconut sugar, dates, bananas, agave, or honey), but I needed to stay away from sugars entirely. So I had to create my own treats. I came up with what is now Delessa chocolate spread. My spreads originated in the kitchen, not a lab. I never thought about adding artificial texturizers or processed stabilizers - I found what I needed in simple, whole foods.
Today, my commitment to kitchen-crafted integrity remains unwavering. Like many health-conscious chocolate lovers, I believe in the incredible benefits of real dark chocolate - Delessa delivers these benefits without dairy, sugar, animal fat, trans fat, processed fiber, sugar alcohols, or other laboratory compromises.
We're proving that kitchen-crafted chocolate can coexist beautifully with clean eating. We exist to serve chocolate lovers who refuse to compromise their goals for quality and health.

Delessa chocolate spreads are delicious treats for anyone, and especially for those with certain restrictions: Our chocolate is friendly to most Vegan, Paleo, Keto, Low Carb, and Raw Food diets, and some other restricted diets that avoid dairy, sugar, gluten, etc. Delessa uses no Sugar Alcohols as sweeteners.**
